Dear Point Blank Warriors,
⏰ Our maintenance that started at 06:00 on September 16 was successfully completed at 10:00.
This maintenance was very comprehensive. New content, large-scale character balancing, graphics and DX11 improvements, map fixes, performance and crash resolutions, as well as interface upgrades have been implemented. You can find all details below.
🆕 New Content Added
🆕 Aoexe Deluxe Series has been added to the in-game market and TAM Store
🆕 Dual Chest has been added to the in-game market
🆕 Several accessories have been added to the in-game market and TAM Store
🆕 The theme of the weapons in Step-Up has been changed to OP weapons (OP = Over Power, the strongest weapons in the game)
🆕 A Dormant Event has started for players whose last login date was August 1 or earlier, running between September 16 - 30
🆕 Battle Pass Astel Mission Card 3 has been added to the game
🆕 New point-purchasable items have been added to the in-game market
🆕 Activated for the Gold Market Dormant Event.
⚖️ Character Balancing
⚖️ All characters in the game have been rebalanced.
With this balancing, character speeds, HP values, and damage intake ratios by body region have been re-adjusted.
Goal: more meaningful character differences and increased survival time.
⚖️ General HP changes:
🔸 Male characters with 100 HP have been increased to 110 HP.
🔸 Powered-up versions of Acid Pol, Red Bulls, Leopard, and D-Fox have been increased to 130 HP, but their speed has been reduced.
⚖️ Battle Pass exclusive character balances:
🔹 Some Battle Pass exclusive characters have been reduced to 110 HP but their speed has been increased (making them more agile).
🔹 Some characters now have HP set to 120 / 125 / 130 / 135 individually.
🔹 General trend: Characters with higher HP have reduced speed, while female characters with 120 HP or less, along with some Battle Pass exclusive characters, have had their speed increased.
⚖️ Example character balances:
🔸 Berserker D-Fox → 135 HP, low speed
🔸 Archer Caiman Grey → 110 HP, high speed
🔸 Knight Viper Red → 130 HP, low speed
🔸 Samurai Girl Tarantula → 125 HP, normal speed
⚖️ Note: The fastest character combination is still Idol + Wig.
🩸 Damage System and Headshot Multiplier Changes
🩸 A balancing update has been made to damage reduction depending on the hit location on the body and the distance.
This means hit location and distance now determine damage more effectively.
🩸 The headshot multiplier, previously 35x, has been adjusted to 6x.
➡️ Explanation: Previously, no matter how strong a weapon was, a headshot applied a 35x multiplier.
(e.g.: T77 with 20 damage → headshot dealt 700 damage). Now headshots will apply 6x.
➡️ Result: Characters with 120 HP or more will no longer die instantly from a headshot by weapons like T77 on the first bullet; their HP will be reduced but they’ll have a chance to survive.
➡️ This change applies to all weapons, but will most impact SMGs and Pistols.
➡️ Calculation method: Multiply your weapon’s damage by 6 to test whether you can one-shot headshot a character with 120 HP or higher.
➡️ Objective: More character variety, longer survival times, and a more strategic system where one-shot kills don’t decide everything instantly.
🗺️ DX11 & Map Updates
🖥️ The following maps have been updated for DX11 graphics mode:
Cargo Port, Glass_Updown, Octagon, Provence, Safe House, Sand Storm, Supply Base, Two Towers
🖼️ Many map loading screen visuals have been updated.
🔧 Resolved Issues / Bug Fixes
🛠️ In Lux Ville, the alignment spots used for grenade throws had changed due to a bug; they’ve been restored to their original state.
🛠️ In Burning Hall, an issue at the Blue team’s spawn point has been fixed
(bullets were passing through walls behind the top-right windows and damaging enemies, but there should have been a wall).
🛠️ In Library, bullets could pass through the walls behind the left window at the Blue team’s spawn; this has been fixed.
🛠️ A visual bug in Tower 11 has been fixed.
🛠️ In Blow City, wires appeared too dark; they now appear clearer.
🛠️ In Black Panther, players could enter the box near the Blue team’s spawn at B Tank; this has been fixed.
🛠️ If a player used an Emote and died while Kill Cam was disabled in the room/settings, the opponent would remain invisible
until they finished the emote or respawned; this has been fixed.
🛠️ When optimized through Nvidia’s application, Point Blank was experiencing crashes; this issue has been resolved.
One of the biggest changes in this maintenance is the character balancing and the fundamental adjustment to the headshot multiplier.
These changes will significantly affect the game’s meta and core gameplay dynamics.
At the same time, we acknowledge that some players may experience differences in gameplay, and we welcome your reports.
